Some people just don't care enough to solve their problem areas. If they have trouble with bombs and plumes, they should be using the pattern guide to expect when they occur and be ready to deal with it in advance. Everything in this fight can be solved by better preparation. Like any MMO raid content, we the players are usually the biggest cockblock.

It's definitely a healer fight and if your healers came unprepared for P5 there's no way to beat him.

I'd honestly be upset if they nerfed this fight, as I think it provides an actual challenge while not being over the top in difficulty. The only people I have sympathy for are those with latency issues and such, as they have a much harder time dealing with plumes. Other than that, what's the problem here? The fight is very straightforward, with an ability rotation that is memorizable.

The only thing that needs to be changed is the mentality of the playerbase trying to Duty Finder the fight. If you're going to go that route, people need to get comfortable with the fact that they're likely gonna wipe several times while people are learning the fight. Additionally, people need to stop using Duty Finder for things when their gear is terrible in hopes of being carried. This is a general statement not directed at anyone in this thread, but it's a video game...stop being lazy and get some pieces of Darklight/AK gear and an Ifrit or Garuda weapon. If people would learn to be more patient and actually put in the time to get themselves geared up better, DF groups would be better overall.

I bought my run (and lived through the whole thing too despite some of "their" people not surviving).

I had a group that wiped at 1% (that was heartbreaking) and again at 10%. After the 10% wipe, the group broke up. When I saw someone was offering the run for 50K less than normal pricesI just bought it. One day I'll go back and do it the right way but after the wipe at 1% I just couldn't do it again. While I'm not satisfied at how I got my Relic, I needed that stupid Relic to do my job properly in the rest of the game. A Relic Paladin holding aggro over a Non-Relic Paladin is night and day.

As for the fight, it's really hard as the tank. First of all, premades only need 1 Tank and if there are multiple tanks looking for the fight, it's hard (to impossible) to find a group. It's one of the only fights where Tanks aren't in demand. The second thing is that there is almost nothing I can do to help the group succeed (outside of advice). After meeting a certain gear level, people either avoid mechanics and do their job or we wipe. As the tank I sit in the same spot for 99% of the whole fight (or close to it), focus on my rotation and pray that everyone else doesn't lag out at a bad time and can dodge the stuff. It wasn't fun for me at all.

One day I'll go back and finish the fight the "real" way. But for now I'm just happy I don't have to worry about it.

It's really hard as the tank. First of all, premades only need 1 Tank and if there's multiple tanks looking for the fight, it's hard to find a group. It's one of the only fights where Tanks aren't in demand.

Yeah, it's really ironic, the actual fight is really easy on tanks, but it's one of the hardest fights for us to get into unless we spend hours assembling our own group. (Or you have a good FC.)

I am. LOL! At some point when one realizes that they are not the problem then to me, buying the run is 100% perfectly acceptable.

need a little help from a tanks perspective on where to stand during bomb phase, and timing for the mountain burst. We get him down a good distance, but when things start picking up my placement is bad. I try to find a video for a tanks perspective but none say anything during the fight minus ones with the dps. Also having issue with holding hate..I use a lot of my tp and the party holds off or does light dps, but once they start it's hard to maintain even with shield oath up. Any pointers on this would be great, also note the dps/heals all have their relics or relic +1 i do not...

Never had DPS getting hate on Titan, because of the way the fight is designed they'll be running away a lot and they'll be forced to interrupt their DPS. WHM should definitely not use Medica II before the second jump, a good scholar can easily spam succor for the first rounds without getting hate ever.

The best way to avoid the circle formation for a tank should be to run toward the last bombs that dropped (not the one in the center, the other in the circle) and then run toward the first to blow off (which will be next to it) assuming they fall near your tank position. My tanks often eat a bomb but as long me and the WHM remember to top him (even if it means eating a bomb on my side too, I can survive and he does no damage until stomps) he will be fine. When in doubt, eat one bomb, rather than two.

You can still get hit by a clock bomb unless you are in the perfect spot. But otherwise it will just be that one bomb and you won't have to move.

In General. "EVERYONE" Should know what they are doing and its IMPOSSIBLE to Finish Titan with PUGS(DUTY FINDER)! Yes Yes, Most of the "Good" people Do their RESEARCH before going to Titan.... But not Everyone... There is Always "UNDERGEARED, and Noobs that dont know how to Dodge or the Rotation". In TITAN HARDMODE.. Everyone "Must" Stay alive.......... But there is Always Someone............. Im starting to hate it.. Actually i already have. I just need to do it for my Relic.. They should put an ITEMLEVEL REQUIREMENTS upon QUE, to Avoid Noobs/Under-geared Wanna Be's.

In P5 when Titan does the 3-row Bomb Pattern w/ landslide - If you hide behind one of the bombs (out of LoS of Landslide), will you still get pushed off if you're in the Landslide area? I've always dodged to be safe...but wasn't sure if I could just hide...
