HM Titan Fight

I'm wondering if people are beginning to master the fight now.

Back when I was farming for my Ifrit weapon we wound up trying like 6 times before we won back when everyone and their grandmother was doing it, but now days pretty much out of the 10 times I've duty finded all 10 times we won. It's just become a cake walk for the general populace.
Titan seemed impossible but I'm guessing it's getting to the point know where it's like this too, just slower.

I'm actually curious as well. I was queuing on my Paladin just a week ago and people were still hopelessly dying left and right to Landslides and Plumes.

Suppose I'll have to try out the Duty Finder again soon.

Its the same thing that I've been seeing. No matter how I get a group together, through shout or DF, it seems I always have people who cant dodge stuff. I'll admit, I do get hit by a plume every now and then, but im seeing people get hit by landslides and bombs and Nontanks get hit by mountainbuster. in over 50 or so runs, ive only had 2 groups who could get to P5 and survive it more than 1 cycle.

Granted im doing it on a bard so its easier for me to dps and dodge, but people know dodging is far above dps in terms of importance right?

Think i might take a break for a while, farm the rest of my DL set, so hopefully I can help carry some people.

Some people honestly don't think of it, or at least until you mention it. As a healer I used to stand in it because, "I just need to get this cast off first or the Tank could die" - It kind of seems like an acquired skill if anything. Just bring it to people's attentions and then people just start learning. You'd think it's common sense but I guess we all had to touch the hot stove before we learnt it was hot.

Although of course no Melee or Bard has an excuse! Unless you're locked into place like with Jump.

As a healer I ALWAYS put life before heals, and if the tank is dying and the other healer sleeping then I use Swiftcast or Benediction in the worst case.
If people avoided aoes always nobody would lose to Titan.
And please, tell me your DF secret to get good people, everytime I queue on DF I get people full lv50-45 or full DL that don't know how to dps/keep aggro/heal.
But for now I'm in the Coil as WHM with my relic, so this is not gonna be a problem at the moment.

His DF Secret? CalvatE is on Tonberry, a Server in the JP datacenter. I've seen people on the JP servers get all 9 Relics via DF, even Titan. Here it's rare to get a win, much less 9.

I finally beat Titan yesterday after spamming DF for a few days. This fight would be so much easier if everyone simply memorized the patterns. It sure as hell does not need a nerf. Isn't this game easy enough already?

His DF Secret? CalvatE is on Tonberry, a Server in the JP datacenter. I've seen people on the JP servers get all 9 Relics via DF, even Titan. Here it's rare to get a win, much less 9.

Isn't duty finder world wide? I always queue for every language, and I have done it with English people.

Although weird since I've selected only German once and never seen one before.

If I'm remembering it correctly, they changed it so that servers were grouped together for the DF, its not world wide.

It never was World Wide. At first it was split based on Datacenter. So All JP servers were in DF together and all NA/EU servers in another DF together. This was causing issues so now there's even smaller groups. When you DF, you only get a small handful of Servers picked from. For example, Excalibur gets people from Shiva and a few others. But only those, no others.

But no, JP servers never DF'd with NA/EU servers.
