    Marks and Using Them

After having some bad luck with marks and leves, I ended up being level 24 before I could purchase Triangulate III, however I noticed that I could also purchase Triangulate IV now (instead of what I expected to be level 30). I checked around a few sites but all sites list Triangulate IV's (and everything elses) optimal rank(30) only, instead of it's purchasable rank. It's left me very curious if I should wait for Triangulate V.

Does anyone know at what ranks all the abilities become purchasable? Or a link to a site that does?

I think you can purchase Triangulate IV - as far as I know, you can purchase any abilities that are now yellow (they require quests to be done for that class). I haven't purchased Triangulate III or IV yet myself, but am going to try to purchase IV (almost have enough points) since I'm already Rank 25.

I'm Bot 21 and skipped Triangulate 3 to purchase Triangulate 4. It seems to work, although my experience has been limited to leves so far.

By the way, I don't think Triangulate 5 is available until you complete the rank 30 Botany quest. I, personally, wouldn't wait. Triangulate is so useful -- especially now that the countdown timer has changed so that there's essentially no wait to rebuff Quickness -- that it's probably worthwhile to have at least one Triangulate to use for the next 5 levels.

Just my opinion, though. Don't know how quickly you're running through the levels, especially now that you've gotten Sweat of the Brow.

what i did was get trianglulate IV then got triangulate V after getting my rank 30 quest done. And to be honest as you are grinding that is the only skills you need since the only ability that you should probably equip is sweat of brow. You can continue to gain the rest of the abilities after that point.

I ended up deciding to wait, I was used to not having it and I'm a bit unsure as to the usefulness of all the other mark items so I figured it'd be safer to just sit on the marks. I'm sure some of you long time botanists probably have marks coming out your ears, but going for a few days without the higher level Triangulate didn't kill me, and at the least Triangulate II still functions fine during leves regardless of the level.

Think that was the good choice to wait for V. For all my DoL I like to get the speed skill V right away then follow that up with master of ... right away. I have bothered collecting marks to try out the other stuff. Especially the skills that temp increase your stats. Most items have relatively low stat requirements to get you to the hard cap of the item so I am not too sure how useful those are.
