Target filter settings help.

I am not sure if this is possible and maybe I am not understanding the wording used.

When you go to Character config under filters there is 'while weapon is sheathed' and 'weapon unsheathed'. All I would like to do is when my weapon is sheathed I can target anything, when it is drawn I would like to be able to target only agroing(engaged) enemies. I have that set up check marked in the filter but I can still target everything, every time. It is quite frustrating to be attacking 2 mobs, and my tab target will go to something behind that is not engaged. Is there a way to correct this? Is there something I am doing wrong or not understanding here? The only thing that makes a difference in targeting is what my camera is sees.

PS. I know you can change the 'move cursor' to filter out selections ,which is what i would like and I believe everyone else. However, this only will target them for one attack/spell then go back to your 'target'.

Thing about Tab is that it literally is the "Cycle through Enemies" button. This had me baffled during beta before I switched out to controllers for filter selections which weren't available on keybind at the time. The filters as a whole unfortunately only effects the cursor selection. They need to add a bind for "Cycle cursor target" or "Cycle filter target".

The odd thing is that you can use that filter setting with a keyboard that looks like it's only for controllers. My room mate and I were really confused why the section that shows 'LB+X', "RB +Y" etc can be used with a keyboard, however it only affects the cursor. You can change tab to that, so you will be 'cycling' with tab using those filters. IE one setting for 'all', I can tab through party members, npcs, monsters, everything. I can then select another filter(set to any key you wish) to now only target agroing enemies, not just all enemies. This will enable you to 'target' but that is only by default because you started attacking/healing it.

I completely disregarded the section that looks like it's for controllers only until I found this out. I have to switch between the two styles if I play my BRD or PLD tho. Hoping they streamline the targeting system, or alternatives.
