(Diabalos) Crafting exploit?

I'm not sure if this is happening on other servers, but something weird has happened to the Gryphonskin/Vanya stuff over the past few days. A player whose only levels are 50 weaver/leatherworker, 17 Gladiator and 23 Miner has posted lots of Gryphonskin/Vanya stuff over the past 2 days.

The weird thing is, he has no materia in any of his accessories/offhands (making his crafting stats very low). Stranger, he's posted even numbers of every item, with the same number of HQ and NQ items, but on different retainers.

But here's what's weird: For example, He has 2 Gryphonskin Boots listed, a HQ one for 999,999 and a NQ one for 333,333. Pants? Same thing. Gryphonskin Boots? Listed for 333,333 and 111,111.

Now, this is also a guy who has bought no Animal Fat/Potash off the Market Board, and no ones seen him shout in MD. Why such weird levels? If he's a crafting mule, why only half-materiad? Why post the EXACT same number of NQ and HQ items? Somethings wrong here.

He could have duped em or smthg, I ve read somewhere that there was a way to do this or smthg (same-ish way some people leveled 1-50 in a min)... T.T

Absolutely possible, or he could just be a mule for a FC that's the designated seller, rather than an actual crafter.

So, his Goldsmith hit 50 last night and he instantly posted every possible GSM item for 999,999, with the only exception being to post for 333,333 if someone had an item up for a lower price.

Take a look at his lodestone. His crafting stats are ridiculously low, and he has no level 15 cross-skills from other classes. If you had a Free Company that was pooling resources to post items at ridiculous prices, wouldn't you at least get BSM to 15? Wouldn't you at least put Materia in your accessories?

He's someone's alt most likely transferred off of the Coeurl server as that's pretty much where his gear came from.

I've read a post about some kind of hack where a character was gaining 29 levels in a crafting class in less than a minute (maybe even all levels from 1-50).
There was a screenshot with timestamps in the chat log too. That was a few weeks ago.

When I saw this I felt like all the time spent getting my crafts up since v1.0 beta was a waste of time, when cheaters can do the same in minutes and then destroy the economy.

An alt without a mount activated, making 2-star items with no other crafting classes leveled, even to 15? The amount of failures you'll get like that is pretty big, so I find it hard to believe that someone would have farmed all those ToP items and then not bothered to take 30 minutes to level, say, BSM to 15.

This is clearly someone who duped ToP items and is using the sales for RMT.

I don't think he's an alt but a very dedicated crafter. I've seen the same thing in my server where one person comes in and starts to sell tier 2 gears for half the price of the previously current market. I came to the conclusion that that person had just transferred over from another server and since people who are transferring to another server are restricted to only have 3 million gil + 1 million gil for each retainer, many people that have more would have to buy tier 2 mats in their previous server in order to not lose their gils.

Of course they would have to recoup their gils back by crafting tier 2 gears and selling them at how much it cost them to buy the mats from their previous server, hence the low prices or what. I would have done the same if I had to change servers.
