In other MMOs there isn't even as much a gear grind on one character, but trying to gear multiple is quite literally impossible due to the fact that when you are fully geared in Myth gear, a new set of Myth gear will be released.

We have almost a year before 2.2 or 2.3 comes out which is even guessing that SE will be adding Myth gear in addition to turn 6+ Coil gear since they never stated if AF2 is direct drop or a token gear set.
