After running AK a ridiculous amount of times I've got pretty much all the gear for every job. Get your myth tomes by Garuda farm (gearing up every job with Garuda weapon) and then firing through Crystal Tower for alts when it's released (therefore skipping DL all together).

With Garuda weapon and AK gear you can easily get your relic for Crystal Tower.
