Is it possible to have 2 phone security apps?

Having more than 1 authenticator kind of defeats the purpose.

I don't see why. I can manage my security on several devices quite fine. I have a 10" tablet that usually sits at home, and a smartphone; I use the latter, but would like to be able to use the tablet as well since it's pretty much always sitting on my desk close to me when I'm playing, and I'm more inclined to use its bigger screen when doing stuff at home.
