Free Company UI - POST YOUR IDEAS TO FIX IT!

I have been running a Free Company since the beta and I have to say, the UI and flexibility of the system is the poorest i've seen in ANY MMORPG atm.

Those of you who own/officer a FC will understand what I mean.

Firstly, you can't 'sort' your online members in alphabetical order let alone any order.
The offline members are perma-sorted to last logged on (I like this).

Also the Rank options don't let you change what number each rank is assigned so any 'custom' ranks show up after member, and pushes them to the back of the member list on The Lodestone

Any other gripes about the Free Company UI please post below.

Our FC have over 300 members, I'd like to see these functions:

1. Sort by any attribute: name, class, rank, zone
2. Quick search box with "next match" function: "bra" will match both "Umbrah" and "Brass"
3. Move that Authroization Info window
4. "Invite Player to FC" button and type in name

Oh yeah!
That's another thing, offline invitations/friend requests etc instead of it saying 'that player can not be found'.
Also a way a person can request to join your FC in game so when I (an officer) logs in, I see a list of applicants.

Indeed it's quite poor.

How about a "note" feature to be able to write a line or two about each member? (organisation, RP, whatever suits us)
I know we would appreciate noting nicknames from FFXI for instance, or main Job, etc.

Also, while it's elementary to know that someone is "in another world", I'd like to know which — would give the name of the instance, i.e. dungeon name, raid name, relic step, solo quest, whatever.

I also don't understand the discrepancy between LS and FC ergonomics: one allows us to "move online players to top", the other to display "online members only". I mean, the former is fine, so why make two different features, why aren't these UI a bit more consistent?

Last but not least, I'd like the "search info" pop up to be a mouse-over feature, not 2-clicks away. I know FF devs love us to click exponentially (sic), but at some point it's just frustrating and clunky.
