i live in the UK and i have no problems at all with lag, only rarely i will get a lag spike but thats it, or i get 90k'd.

also you may want to read the following post, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...P2P-throttling which is probably the main cause of your lag issues.

so it may not be SE's fault, it might be your ISP's fault

I've seen players in UK been having problems also. Across whole Europe players have problems.

Some players actually found out it could be a specific traffic in the US area where it bumps. I'm pretty sure SE would be fixing that by now and change company (whatever) to let the traffic go around.

Or simply again.. get a bunch of EU servers in EU like Blizzard did with WoW? Sure hell it will solve 95% of EU players problem immedietly and yourself will get "Excellent" ping to the server.

Hey - I am conj and am nervous of going any further than lord of the inferno (don't even want to start that!) - I seem to be having a lag and I got loads of abuse on my last dun. I actually changed world and started again as some woman from a fc was rude and horrid - I play on a PS3. I moved from Shiva to Odin. I need to join a FC that actually does things - the last one I was in did nothing. So now I am a nervous reluctant scared healer who just harvests all of the time. Any suggestions pls?!

Ya. the lag is terrible from 20:00GMT+2 to about 22:30GMT+2 before that and after that its fine. My ISP gives priority on there MMO games WOW,SWTOR etc, and now FFXIV so I know its not that problem.

Stupid thing is that usually exactly when most FCs with work/school going players raid at. :/ Our progress is stuck because we just can't raid during peak hours due to horrible horrible lag. I have the game paid till like February, but I'm for sure not going to give SE anymore of my money if this shit doesn't get solved soon. I suppose one way to solve is to have all the players quit so the servers aren't as busy.
