EU lag

There are people in the US having issues with the servers. Moving to EU doesn't mean that none will still have issues. It may fix it for some and create new issues for others. Sadly the routing is that bad.

Hmm, my typical ping is about 100-200ms and I don't have much issues with the AoEs. I have dodged Titan's plumes even though I was sure I got hit (got out at the last possible moment).

On the other hand, these AoEs are absolutely impossible to dodge:

- Magitek Cannon if i'm directly in the center
- The AoE the first boss in WP uses, only dodged it once, because I was almost out of it anyway

And then there's Piercing Laser, used by ADS, very hard to dodge, even when I see it coming. Once, I was out of it for 1.5 seconds, it still hit me.

Pls move one server from canada to a closer eu nation for eu players. It feels like we are less important customers.

But EU players ARE less important customers. Just look at global sales figures of games and you undestand why. Its the state of modern gaming; games gotta sell millions or it doesnt give billions of profits therefore its better to invest your money elsewhere. Giving local servers to EU would cost money so its easy to just treat as a scum since we have less players here and save a bit dosh.

Hey - I am conj and am nervous of going any further than lord of the inferno (don't even want to start that!) - I seem to be having a lag and I got loads of abuse on my last dun. I actually changed world and started again as some woman from a fc was rude and horrid - I play on a PS3. I moved from Shiva to Odin. I need to join a FC that actually does things - the last one I was in did nothing. So now I am a nervous reluctant scared healer who just harvests all of the time. Any suggestions pls?!

AOE's will hit you even if you are well far from area of impact. You have far less time to react to a threat than any other na or j player.

Er, no, ask my friend who plays in Alaska, or those posting from CA who have ping times larger than mine from England .. this is NOT an EU-only problem.

I played through the entirety of the main storyline without many problems with AoE attacks because it wasn't SUCH a great deal, but on the HM Primals, especially Titan, it can be infuriating to be doing so well then you have 2 plumes merged with each-other and if you even flinch for a split-second on some of them you WILL get hit for over 2k.

Luckily my latency isn't that bad as I can easily get past the Heart Phase without getting hit by a plume or Landslide but when I see plumes forming and people are standing right in the centre for up to 1-1.5 seconds not moving my heart just goes ten to the dozen because I immediately think they're going to get hit but then they will appear on my screen as running out of the plume with mere split-seconds to go and they'll not get hit.

I've been at Titan HM for over 3 WEEKS now, and the closest I've got to is about 20% but it's just madness from that point on as a minority of the party die from not reacting quick enough and as people have said it's sometimes down to luck rather than skill dodging some plumes...

SE has not done a good job with this game. The game is fun to a certain point, and instance fight mechanics are fun. However... it takes way to short of a time to out level each bit of content, and at end game you get to bash your head against Titan, and repeat BC once a week. Not much fun there. Then there are the issues with the servers, routing, etc etc. These issues that SE has not even commented on.

Normally when you pay a recurring sub for an MMO its because it has lots of content to keep you busy, and you get other things from the company like working servers, low latency, and above all CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

This is the first MMO I have ever played where getting any form of customer support is almost impossible. What are we paying for? Oh yea.. crap servers, crap game, no content, and no customer support. That is what we are paying for. I say we let SE know we are not happy by not giving them any more money.

stop blaming throttling ISPs. ITs the shitty connection on SE datacenter the problem is.

I ONLY got lag from 6pm to 11pm CET on only monday and tuesday. Whjich is the time when everyone does coil and ak resets for myth. Rest of the week, no lag issues

This game is the first game after many years that got me hooked in..after long time I joined guild again and tried the endgame and have lot of fun but lag is killing the game for me...unfortunately our guild can only play at peak times due to real life obligations of all members...and is almost impossible to do some fights with that lag. Sadly, all of my guild consider to stop playing even if they love the game cause for weeks now we have issues...

at first we had patience...ok maye SE didn't expect so many people, or they will buy better servers and we always waiting for this to be fixed...but we run out of patience now

As of right now I cannot see myself beating Titan HM the way the latency is for everyone, I'll probably have my majority of AF2 gear way before beating him, it's soul-crushing to say the least.
