Garuda dropping the same loots since last patch

Having a token system like the tomes would solve these drop problems! Never seen tank weapon on either of guarda or ifrit! And I can garentee the second I do the other tank will end up getting it, on probably his first run through!

Really? I thought it was one of the more common drops for him. I got it on my warrior since the DRGs in my party already both had it or better and it was maybe my third ifrit kill

People say scholar drops are common. Took me 63 kills to get my Garuda weapon. RNG is RNG. Just because you run it 11 times and see a trend doesn't mean much especially when every item has an equal opportunity to drop.

if the other weps do actually drop which im beginning to think they dont then the other drops must be extremely low % like 1 %

so... in the 480 runs you have done since the patch, you have seen more than half of the items, so you claim that it is the same item over and over... interesting

Guys guys guys you are all forgetting the obvious truth, SE is in out heads, knows what we are thinking and what we want, then they make everything but what we want drop.

Took me more than 25 Ifrit kills in 1.0, and more than 30 Garuda (using DF!) kills in 2.0 to get those two BLM weapons. The trick is to pop a /pray directed at the boss before each fight. It increases desired weapon drop rate by 5%.

When I was doing Garuda HM, I got my tank blade after about 30 runs. In between that, I've seen a lot of BLM staves, MNK gloves, and SMN books. Prior to the tank blade dropping, 4 SCH books dropped in a row.

Saw the DRG spear twice though. That one is really rare.

Maybe it didn't feel as bad for me, because I am an avid Monster Hunter player...I still think back to the days I used to farm for Mantles and Palliums in that game.

Im still waiting for the Garuda weapon for a lancer to drop...other than that I have the Warrior weapon which is the next class im considering to lvl
