News that the combat system might now begin to function is not impressive. It does not "stump" us. It should have been in at release.
Thing is, the current battle system is fine for what it is - Serverside interface is causing a lot of problems. Throw in the unbalanced nature and poorly designed actions, then it all compounds. The game was released far too early and yes this is a legitimate reasoning as much as people want to say otherwise.

Imagine if ME3 was released right now, it won't be as good as it could have been now would it?

Voice overs were stated EXPLICITY before launch they would be present in a lot of the main storyline cutscenes, so why people expected otherwise I'm not sure.

Most MMOs I've played their vanilla stage is always limited in zone count. Always. Some have more than others but it's always on the low side compared to an MMO that's been out and expanded upon for years. Even Rift has a low zone count for the hype it generated and when it was released.

Anyone who's played or even read about any of SE's MMOs should have known that Ishgard was never going to be in at release, especially as the 4th and neutral city.
