Actually, all this shows us is that SE doesn't have any new ideas. They're just rehashing ideas from old FF games, including ripping off XI, because they can no longer innovate. All new FFs R bad. FF is dying, herp derp.

It could just be that the "trolls" have said what they wanted.

Some people are overly optimistic just as some are past caring and others are fed up with waiting for changes.

I feel the letter from Akihiko was good enough for the time being, that doesn't mean that I will stop voicing my opinion and displeasure about the current state of the game.

Edit:- That being said the letter didn't really give us much new information, there is still a lot of improvements to be done to this game.

i think anyone that was unhappy for lack of information has that. we all know it won't last long, but it is quiet atm. i was glad to get any information of what was planned. i may not like the sounds of some of it, but glad we at least see what is coming. i will hold off any final judgment on the new system until after it is put in place and get a chance to see it.
