Controller becoming unresponsive periodically

Just shamed myself in Titan HM because of this. 3 different controllers, all randomly stop working occasionally for 10-15 seconds. I can noob it up with the best of ppl, I don't need help from the controller tyvm. Please fix it!

wonder if maybe it's an issue with the controller's software. Have you tried running it with just the windows API managing the controller to eliminate that extra layer?

Okay, someone in one of my LSes helped me out with some kind of tech sorcery.

Apparently, how I fixed it was changing from "Full Screen" to "Borderless Window" in the Graphics settings. Not sure how it correlates, but it fixed the problem.

Congratulations on the fix! However, I never play full screen... I wonder what's responsible in my case.

Well it worked for a few days. Then I started playing today and, suddenly, the problem came back as if it had never left. So... I'm still stuck.

Also, I contacted Square-Enix Tech Support about this issue directly a few days ago. They described the issue as a "unique case" and, from what I can tell, they're as lost as we are.

Yeah happened here too, I logged out after a few days without the issue and forgot I wanted to do one more thing before I headed off to work. I logged back in and immediately had the same exact problem. I am at a loss to explain this.

So... issues still happening. Still largely impossible to continue (I wiped on class quests that would be easy if I didn't lose control of my character for FORTY seconds at a time), still having no issues whatsoever on any other game. Already disabled\enabled USB ports, uninstalled\reinstalled USB and controller drivers, nothing's worked.

Which is a problem almost identical to this one being wrapped up with a tidy "Wellp, looks like this problem's resolved!" It most certainly isn't.

My controller also spazzes out randomly, pressing buttons all by itself. If I'm lucky I can hold the ps button and turn the controller off then back on. I play on the ps3. So far it's always random but also happens if I unplug my controller while I am playing after it's been plugged in.
