Controller becoming unresponsive periodically

Same here. What's really frustrating is that periodically it will work perfectly for a few hours - just about no problems whatsoever besides a little lag. Perhaps it could be my controller going out, but I have had no issues whatsoever with controller lag on any of the 10+ steam games I play with the controller - I don't just mean less issues, I mean no issues at all.

It's really frustrating to not know if I'll be able to play based on whether or not the gamepad decides to work, and it's REALLY hard for me to say its the gamepad going out when it works 100% of the time with everything else.

Could we get an answer, a response, something?

I agree -- some acknowledgement or indication that this is being worked on would be very welcomed. Even if the problem isn't widespread, it's clearly affecting a few of us. I'm very much looking forward to the controller gameplay enhancements I've read about for the upcoming update, but it's all rather moot if using a controller is unreliable.

Every few patches I have this problem. I can barely ever find anything on it but not only does my controllers stop for a few seconds they will auto run me, and press up-up-up-up-up spam for a good 4 seconds. This was -never- an issue in 1.0 and as of late its happening more and more. I have done reinstalls and every fix out there with no luck when a random patch breaks this. I am currently watching my husband as I type run off the ledge at titan because of it. As we both play with controller on pc I have noticed when we play at the same time, it happens to us both at the same exact time.. Even if hes 5 hours away working, it still happens. It's bad enough my index finger is always sore from holding down L2 (ALL THE TIME) but makes it impossible to do things like Demon wall and Titan. Please fix

Yeah I ran into this issue against Chimera, good luck dodging anything. Every now and again I can get lucky and not have it, but it's back with a vengeance tonight.

I'm having similar difficulties and some assurance that this is getting looked at would be HUGELY appreciated.

I love this game, but I'm being forced to work on crafting/gathering because I don't trust my controller to function properly during combat situations, especially ones which involve instant-kill pits or damage traps.

I keep trying the controller out on the PC after each patch to see if there are any changes, but each time the problem is still there. Like you, I just do some crafting and market management on PC since the experience is so bad.

It looks like there's an older thread about this same issue. It's in the resolved issues forum; I'm not sure why since it's still reproducible.

Having an issue, put fresh batteries in my wireless...and the controller will just become unresponsive.

Playing as a MNK, missing a combo...F's my whole GL rotation.

Please fix ASAP.

And again, I am still having this issue. It is still not 100% of the time - weirdly, it usually only happens when I log onto the game from my home wifi connection. When I'm at school I have zero issues with my gamepad. It's still there, in fact today I am having 20-30 second times of inactivity every 10-15 seconds. In other words, my controller is LESS responsive for more time than it is every minute.

Checked again. Fired up Bastion on Steam. No issues. AGAIN.

Anyone listening out there?

I'm not sure what my issues are, since my controller and internet connection are both wired, and therefore has absolutely zero chance of being affected by any form of interference. Also, my controller is an Xbox 360 controller, which gets automatically updated by Windows Update whenever there is an update for it.

I have also heard of people having similar issues with their keyboard and mouse as well.
