So What Rolls do you want?

So me and my FC were talking about rolls and i was thinking about gunners. i mean think about it. it will be the 2nd dps roll thats not casting you can fight with. yea blm and sum are long rang dps but you have to stand there and cast. I mean the the Admiral of Limsa Lominsa has gun. Where can i get some?

So what do you think. What do you wish for lets talk about it.!

I think a gun class would be very cool. I also would like to see a RANGER type JOB for ARC and give a DPS Limit Break.

I personally would like for them to focus on more stuff to do in the game other than more classes to grind atm.

guns seem out of place in FF at best of times, theyd be even more outta place in XIV imo.
wouldnt mind a sentinel like XII or saboteur class tho

We will eventually have Musketeer. By all accounts, Musketeer will be its own Class (not a Job) and will probably use Dexterity (physical ranged stat). This means, there will be a reason why Hawk's Eye is cross-classable. Archer will certainly be a required secondary class to get the Job, and given that Musketeers are based in Limsa Lominsa, and Merlwyb is one, we'd likely get Corsair as that Job.

I'd like to see a new ranged class that does physical damage. Perhaps something along the lines of a "Musketeer" or "Engineer." I'd like to see Bards move into more of a permanent support/buffing role (Devs have said they believe their damage is to high anyway) and have a new contender step in that is pure single target ranged damage without the support buffs.

To off-set high damage numbers, make is to they have cast times similar to that of "Aimed Shot" in WoW. One step further, they could be a dual wielding class. Dual pistols or something of the like. Oh the possibilities....

More caster type classes! The physical type outnumber us and it's my preferred playstyle.

A magical type melee would be fun, too. Like Enh shaman in WoW or the rift Harbringer.
