    Allow food to be kept for 30 minutes (even across dead)

    I know may sound stupid but there are some foods that REQUIRES time to be gathered and created, we can't lower the price so much because they do require time but... let's think about it: a food costs 6k, I can't imagine anyone using those (I'm speaking about combat foods), for example if someone disconnect for 1 minute right at the start of the battle, you have lost 6k gils in 3 seconds?

    Isn't it a too big punishment? I think food must last 30 minutes, no matter what happens.

    This maybe will result in even a better market share for culinarian, so an improvement for everyone.

    I would be on board with this, it can get quite costly to keep food up if your party is having difficulties clearing what ever content they are attempting.

    My food is free what do you mean 6k? I don't undestand why you can complain when you're the one forking over the gil for it when you could easily be making the food yourself.

    This is really necessary. The food buffs are already so small as to be nearly insignificant. The only real difference is the extra vit provided, and that's really only important for the tanks.

    Considering the cost of food, the number of mats required, and the meager impact that food actually gives, yes, it should definitely persist on death.

    And people wonder why they can't clear the "hard" content in this game. *rolls eyes*

    I do believe HQ food should persist through death, however. To compare to ToR--normal stims lose their effect after death, but the higher quality (within a specific tier) stims persist through death for their full duration. It not only promotes the usage of stims(food), but also adds value to a higher quality item over its lower quality counterpart. If HQ persists through death, that will add incentive for culinarians to actually sit and craft the HQ rather than quick-synthing for bulk.

    I agree with this 100% As far as losing the buff after death I think that is fair.
