The biggest disappointment in this entire game...

So,

Just throwing this out there, and I will be SHOCKED if I am not backed up by the community for this...

First of all, I'd like to say that this game is fantastic, I'm loving every minute of it.

Sure, it's certainly not without it's flaws, but overall very very enjoyable.

However, there is one thing that has occurred which is completely UTTERLY INEXCUSABLE;

Magitek Armor Mount does not play Terra's Theme from Final Fantasy VI while riding it.

This NEEDS to be implemented and NOW.

How was this even looked over?

Ideally all mounts should play a different theme that matches what you are riding...however the lack of FFVI theme playing for MAGITEK ARMOR is just CRAZY!!!!?!?!?!?

Threads were made about this, and I believe the issue was something about music pace not matching with the mount moving pace. IIRC though, if enough players demanded it, devs wanted to look at it again.

It's strange because I also remember during beta many topics about suggestions for the music being looked over... funny how they generally listen to gamers for everything but seem VERY stubborn on music choices...wonder where that is coming from.

That being said though...makes NO SENSE to not have Terra's Theme here.

If we bring it up enough / badger them on this it will eventually be addressed! I for one feel like the game is really incomplete without it...

Well I for one agree! I have long ago disabled mounted music because this game's chocobo music wears on you after a while. The Magitek mount should NOT have the same music as the Coeurl mount.

The reps did answer this a while ago. It might happen. I myself hope it does.

Wow! There sure are a lot of requests for a special magitek armor mount tune!

We let the mount lead know that there were so many requests for this and he mentioned that they would look into whether or not they can get this implemented.

(P.S.: I'd like to see this happen too! )

I could go for the magitek to play Terra's theme. I LOVE that theme, and I loved the remix Soken did of it.

Or at least a a variation of Terra's theme. Though, either way, I wouldn't be bothered if the magitek mount music wasn't changed. (Nice to know that it's the exact same as the coeurl mount music and I'll just keep using my coeurl.)
