Keep straight shot up and dots on target.
Hit buttons as they light up.
Filler with heavy shot.
Use invigorate when TP drops to 540.
Use buffs on cooldown.
It's a good idea to throw in Rain of Death somewhere in your rotation.
-10% (enemy) damage dealt is very nice. :]
When I mean rotation I didn't mean spamming it in a predetermined order.
You are right, people are supposed to adapt to battles (that is why I personally would recommend avoiding a 1 button macro). Rotations should change depending on the fights. Bards have lots of abilities that can be prioritized before certain attacks that can make a difference. While it is 200tp, there can be multiple bards in the party that can take turns keeping the debuff up.
-10% damage helps in a lot of battles especially when bosses place debuffs on tanks. Support the group, TP manage, and dps. A good bard will realize the ideal times for all of his/her abilities.
