For both of my level 50 crafting classes, I went from 45-50 in one day.
HQ leve turn-ins: Know it, love it, abuse it.![]()

I have all my other crafts at level 50... so sitting down and mass producing HQ mythril ingots from Goldsmith and HQ cobalt ingots from Blacksmith was really easy.
These were leve turn in items for Armorer and I got about 64,000 EXP per mythril ingot and over 100,000 EXP for 3 cobalt ingots -- which was also a triple turn in leve. With a stack of about 72 HQ cobalt ingots I prepared in advance, I literally went from level 45 to level 50 Armorer in a matter of minutes.
This.
I actually discovered it by mistake when doing a Culinarian leve early on. In v1 we couldn't turn in HQ items on leves so I was actually disappointed when I got an HQ result... but I realized it was highlighted as acceptable on the turn in, and that's when I found out we could get 3x EXP for HQ items.

That is all. =D
Leves are great for leveling up now in version 2.0, but in 1.0 there were special leves you could obtain that actually told a story with NPCs unique to those leves alone.
I miss seeing Wmhelgo Hena's smiling, scared face. ;_;

I miss being able to get lost in the wilderness, everything feels so small and crowded now. I used to have this nice quiet patch in coerthas where i could just farm sheep and not see a soul for hours. i wouldn't say there is too many towns, just that the zone themselves are funneled into them and you're never more than a 2minute walk away from one. Burning wall in thanalan is the closest i have been able to feel "out there" since 2.0.
Among other things mentioned, I missed being able to move my character and put it on auto run/walk on the character selection screen.

Found this on utube. Whoever make this, bravo!

Goodbye 1.0. I'm still so sad not going to be able to venture that land of the past anymore...
