[dev 1058] Job Petition: Summoner

No pet jobs ever please. 1 unit to control per account and per character. No pets and no mounted combat.

Why? Ballancing issues. I am a firm believer in that if a job ends up being useless or overpowered it should never have existed in the first place.

Summons should either only be part of the story/content or possibly made as the new 2 hours.

Sorry Summoner hopefuls, but for the good of the game, you shouldnt exist.

Actually, I want all those other things. And I do like summons, being a long-time FF fan. However, they have no place in a MMO. As I said, the only possible good way to implement them is to make them just a powerful ability like a 2 hour. You can only use once every so often and it is an effect that lasts a short time like the older FF games, but not as pets.

that's boring (in my opinion) I want it as a pet which we can level them up and manage their attributes/skills and write AI for them
