    Avoiding Bombs while Tanking Titan

I'm currently working to beat Titan HM and had a question. As a tank I seem to have some issues during Phase 5 avoiding the circular bomb pattern and the 3 row pattern. With the circular pattern I can't find that "sweet spot" between the two bombs to avoid them, and with the three row pattern, short of dragging titan across the map I still got hit by one of the bombs last night.

I don't always get hit by them and sometimes I can manage to find that "spot" but I wanted to increase my consistency with dodging the bombs so any and all advice would be appreciated.

The big issue isn't the damage from the bombs but the impending MB that occurs after. One of our attempts last night resulted in a wipe because the healer didn't get me topped off fast enough after the bomb. I've considered holding onto hallowed ground for the chance that I miss the bomb so I can pop before MB goes off.

Any tips or suggestions for dodging the bombs?

Watch which bomb drops first. Run around the edge of the arena until you are standing on the bomb that drops last, which drops next to the bomb that drops first. Once the first bomb blows (always as the landslide impacts), move to that spot. The circle bombs are the second pattern of bombs. It goes rows, circle, rows, easy bombs, repeat.

Make sure your party is aware that you are going to do this so they can avoid getting cleaved.

there is a harder way of doing this that doesn't require you to pull titan. find a median between two bombs and go as close to the edge as you possibly can. make sure you are in the middle, or you will eat a bomb, and make sure you are as far away as possible, or you will eat two bombs.

provided you have a good location set up, you should only need to make minor movements to avoid parallels and X formation as well.

This is starting to spread across the innernets, but there's actually a super duper special spot on the map to stand during phase 5 where you, as the tank, will never ever have to move an inch. It's perfectly positioned just so from all bomb formations. Do a youtube search for tank safe spot or whatever for Titan HM. But, suffice it to say, it's just slightly west of due north on the map, with a tiny design on the ground being your visual marker as to where to stand. It's incredibly precise, though, as the circular formation will still be very hard to dodge. It's a matter of pixels, it feels like, between being safe during the circular formation and eating one of the bombs. But, that's the only bomb you'd be at risk to eat. Otherwise, that spot avoids any other bomb from other formations.

I used to think that was the bomb pattern...until last night when he opened phase 5 with the circle (clock) bombs...circle bombs are easy to deal with but not when you reflexively move expecting the lines.

As a paladin you can pretty much cycle your cooldowns such that you can eat one bomb and then MB without dropping dead, and it's how I do it, i.e. the lazy way. It has never been a problem before.

As a warrior, though, your cooldowns probably can't provide that amount of comfort.

I always stay in the northern portion of the circle and have found the sweet spot for the three line bombs so I avoid it everytime. For the circle in phase 5 I always time my hallowed ground to absorb the bombs and the incoming mountain buster. This is by far the most optimal way I have found to do Titan. Good luck!

For bombs on Titan, a good spot that you don't get hit by them is when you start tanking him, tank him on his spot. At first jump, go to your left between the first 2 yellow squares on the floor you encounter. When first bomb appears, adjust to them (you'll probably have to move a tiny bit to your left if I remember right). And stay as closest to the edge as you can.

as Avalon already mentioned, there is a spot where you dont have to move away.
