Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

If you bring a BRD with a SMN and a BLM, your Foe's Requiem will boost their damage enough to make up for the loss of your own.
Or should, correct me if I err on how much it improves DPS.

Foe Requiem is not worth it. My group doesn't require ballad on anything even Twintania which is one of the longest encounters in the game. I was the only bard in my team and not to brag but one of the best bards on the 2 servers that I've raided with, both being part of the server first teams. That being said I can safely say that not only was my role barring on the edge of a wasted slot because we were parsing far below what is capable from skilled players of other roles, but now after these huge nerfs and no utility to back it up (in fact a nerf to our utility) the class is detrimental to a skilled group that doesn't need ballad unless something goes wrong and a healer dies. Having your bard go monk or replacing them for a monk will net your group a 20% DPS gain as that slot will be pulling twice the DPS.

Yeah, we're pretty boned for any geared groups. :/

PvPing with BRD because it's great, but I'm gearing DRG now for when my group gets more geared and doesn't need my songs anymore.
