Lalafell vs Human (forgot the race name).

I have my Fantasia potion on wait, my question is should I switch to a Lalafell. I normally roll with female characters on MMORPG's the customization for females is tenfold better than males. This time around I chose male and ugh, everything went wrong! Voice, hair, skin tone, face etc. the lack of customization just killed it, 4 faces was clearly not enough and the voice selection was dreadful.

I have put aside my Fantasia but I have grown accustomed to Lalafells and their over jubilant laughing and emotes. Plus they're adorable, they remind me of Yordles from League of Legends. (not Teemo, he shall die a fiery death). I don't want to switch and then hate my decision. Because this is my main character and it has a lot of progression but I'm also a very appearance driven player, if my character is bad then I wont play and I spend a lot of time in creation.

Sadly I spent very minimal in Final Fantasy with everything being so.. Basic. 4 faces, pretty much every skin tone was exactly the same and in the creation area it looked better/lighter than it was in game. And then theirs clothes. Every piece is based on Humans pretty much, from what I've seen some robes look bad on Lalafells and you cannot see the finer details.

I don't know what to do. :/

Anyway I still don't have a definite answer.

Do the folloing, make a new character, a lala, and try out what fits you most.
Btw your new character too gets all boni your old Character had, so you can even use a Fantasia on this new lala to make another lala.

Before I'd change my old Character, I'd always try it out as a new one first. For the touch and feel how a Lala plays this is enough. (Speaking of Which I will make a Lala now just to squee at its animations in Limsa)
