Inventory sorting

Honestly, is it so hard to make an hotfix for it? At least I expected to see it on patch 2.05. This is driving me mad. I'm a weaver and I literally waste hours finding the correct gear to wear. Put at least an option to wear the gear at the highest possible level!! I can't believe the basic tools present in any classic FF games are missing in this one.

My subscription expires in a couple of days. I am really tempted to freeze it until this sorting issue gets… sorted.

Anyway, any idea about when patch 2.1 will be out?

I agree. Some sort of proper sorting needs to occur. Sorting items in Inventory by name/HQ. Sorting the AC by lvl (or as someone suggested on here putting the lvl on the icon) as well as if its Hand/Foot/Land. That would help so much with not just crafting and gathering, but with jobs as well. It can take what feels like forever just to know what to where out the door

Take for example EverQuest 2's method for inventory sorting. One click and it sorts items by classification and pushes everything to the front of your bags. This is exactly what this game needs. Also some sort of notification on what gear is being used in what set; I get tired of accidentally selling gear that's included in a set.

I agree there should be an auto sort, but why do you waste hours finding the right gear to use? Don't you use the armor sets? I have sets for all crafting and gathering classes, and I change gear with just one button. Whenever I get something better for a class, I just equip it, and then update the set.

There is some kind of "Inventory sorting" not sure how it works if checked some items gets placed in 4th tab even if 1-3 had open slots

I also use gear sets but sometimes i forget to update them and covert weapon or armor then try to switch back later and need to re-equip everything, or sometimes the data doesn't get saved to PS3

I absolutely <3 gearsets but this is so annoying, especially when I craft a new tool for the current DoH I am leveling and convert the old item to Materia; because next time I switch it doesn't work as the main item is missing, meaning I have to manually equip everything again and re-save.

Also, while I mention that, does anyone else find the green cross for an item you can't equip difficult on your eyes? Here is an idea - any item you can't equip on your current class turn to a silhouette in your armoury chest, that will make it so much easier to discern what you can wear (visible items), and what you can't (black shapes).

Gear sorting would be great, and please can we get some alternate storage options in the inn room besides my retainer for seasonal even related items? The inventory system is definitely needing some improvement especially when it comes to sorting!

There is gear sorting, but it's not retroactive. If you have auto sorting on, all new items you get will be sorted automatically. It's like equipment does in bag 1, usable items in bag 2, materia in bag 3, mats in bag 4, or something like that. But as I said, it's not retroactive which sucks. Only new players with fresh inventories will benefit from it, if they even know where to look for the toggle. It's hidden in the menus.
