I made damned sure i knew what the hell i was doing by the time i was 50.

And crap XP from dungeons? Uhhh .... up to Haukke Manor, i was getting 500 - 1k per trash mob kill, and from Stone Vigil and up i was getting 1.5k per kill of each individual trash mob, 8 - 11k per boss, then another 10 - 12k from the newbie bonus, And 400+ gil from that same bonus.

All that for 35 - 45 minutes of cruising through a dungeon chatting to random players about random things, meeting new people on every run.

How in the hells could that kind of XP be considered *bad*?!
It's not that the xp is bad but lets face it...FATE xp is rediculous. When grinding fates at low-mid levels I can gain a level every 20-30 minutes. At end levels 40-50, that time frame increase a bit but still can get a level in about 45-70 minutes depending on the fate. Before they nerfed experience from DD (a big xp fate) you could get approximately 350-400k from one fate in approximately 20-30m. If I can get xp that fast then why would I even want to run a dungeon where I might gain 1/2 a level from a single dungeon which takes approximately 45m at the low end of jobs?

It's all about the rush to end game. People want to get to the end game as quickly as possible so they can get new shiny loots and complain about having nothing to do.

I think the best solution to this would be to increase dungeon xp to be on par with fates, and place a cap on the number of people that can join a single fate event at a given time.
