What if NPCs could fill party slots in Duty Finder?

I can imagine there will rather mixed opinions on this idea but I feel it would be worth discussing anyway...

To 'solve' the idea of long queues in Duty Finder (I myself have found some of the less popular dungeons are going on 90+minutes in queue as a DPS) what would players think of having AI NPCs to take the role of a party member?

They've already implemented the functionality to some extent with solo-instance quests/missions so perhaps the overhead of implementing it isn't that bad.

I realise that coming up there will be incentive for players to go back and do a random dungeon to help assist those going through it the first time. But can we rely on such schemes to last for the long-term of the game's progress?

I also realise that players may prefer to wait hours for the thrill of spending time with a party of 100% human players or that some bosses/monsters require human-level decision making to win but surely not all dungeons would suffer that much with a couple NPCs to assist in the dungeon?

    Edit:

Oh I forgot to mention that I wouldn't suggest that NPCs started filling slots immediately upon entering a DF queue, but rather when the timer reaches 15+mins (or another time). The idea is to get people starting dungeons when there's a lack of human players.
