Thread: Well Screw It.

I just need to accept the fact that I can not beat Temple of Qarn. Its a level 35 dungeon, and here I am level 42.. and still unable to finish it.

I have ran this dungeon about 6 times, most of which results in terrible players just giving up and quitting because they cant figure out the mechanics. However, last night I finally get into a good party, we steam rolled right through the dungeon.

Had about 55 minutes left on the clock for the final boss, we wipe twice, and our other dps just said oh well and bails. I couldnt believe it, especially since we had him down to about 10% both times.

He was replaced by a series of terrible first timers who had no clue what to do. So I have officially said to hell with it... its optional anyways right? I am just gonna do the story dungeons for now.

On a side note... is there any real purpose to the optional dungeons aside from side story?

Get a FC, watch videos to try to explain the fight to others. I have been fortunate where someone knew the fight and could explain it. We may have died a few times, but it was fun.

I recall a couple of bosses are needed for GC rank progression

Some optional dungeons... such as wanderer palace gives things like tomes for darklight or relic pieces that drop inside that you may want for later levels till.... you build myths or can run coil but for some dungeons like qarn its just generally for gear gathering which is a so-so thing considering af can hold you till you can run wp or cm for tomes.

Qarn has GC hunting logs for Twin Adder which means it needs to be done to finish rank 2.

I personally find the game fun with players who are new and willing to learn, to be honest as long as they are willing then I am always willing to try to help them learn just like I ask people to be patient with me in my first runs with certain battles/dungeons too. xD
