    ver 1.0 FF XIV

    Ok the items you get like the coerll mount and helm of light is that just for your first chara in the game or if i make another chara in a different realm will i receive the same items, only asking cause world transfer is not an option due to the realm im on and the realm some friends are on.

    As long as you use the same account you get whatever you got on your first char on any other chars you make. if you had any v1 bonuses you're supposed to get them too

    The only 1.0 bonus item that is only for your old 1.0 characters is the Hermes Shoes which were only available during 1.0 if you had both a FFXI and FFXIV account active.

    This bonus is no longer available however, and as it's not account based only 1.0 characters that had this item in 1.0 will have it in ARR - any new characters you create on that account in ARR will not start with this item. But all other bonus items are account based, meaning any characters you create will start the game with those items available (they're delivered to you through the Moogle Delivery Service in game).

    This seems like a good place for me to ask this:

    So the Coeurl mount isn't obtainable(yet) for a brand new player like myself?

    I'm an old-school FFXI Bst who's psyched about the thought of riding a giant cat into battle(or the grocery store).

    Coeurl Mount, and Helm of Light, are from Collectors Edition, so yes its still obtainable. Just go to Mog Station and get the CE upgrade (which is actually 1 cent cheaper than buying the digital CE of the game)

    The only mount that isn't available to new characters is the Gobbue mount. So even if you are legacy, you will only have the Gobbue mount if you did the quest back in 1.0

    Just want to add that even if you do get your Coeurl mount, you have to unlock your Grand Company Chocobo to be able to ride it.
