Hey friends,
I need a guide or some friendly tips on crafting classes. Does anybody know of some helpful guides that aren't videos?
Thanks,
Ty Jaka

ive just been googling " Final Fantasy 14 < insert class > guide " and reading along :P
This pretty much.
I thought it would be complicated too at first, but it really isn't that bad. At first you just focus on completing your Crafting log, since you get extra experience off every completed entry and you can buy the mats off the vendors cheap. Once leveling becomes a bit longer and costy, you can start using leves - personally I would just repeat the one that gives you the most exp so as not to waste Allowances.
I know that a lot of guides suggest rotations and stuff, but if you are new you only have acess to your classes abilities so it is somewhat common sense what to use when.
I guess some of the craft classes are better than others for your main character.... i see you have to be a crafter of the Hand to be able to improve equipment like arms and armour.

Yea different classes benefit from different types of crafting skills, though some crafting skills seem to be beneficial for all classes. For instance metal weapons for Marauders/Gladiators are made from Blacksmithing, while staves/bows/lances are made via Carpentry. So I imagine the best thing to do is check what kind of weapon your main class weilds.
