There are two strategies to it that are all but foolproof, depending on the gear level of your party.

1 - Tank tanks the boss, one DPS takes care of adds, kiting them as necessary and stacking the kills so that the tank will be able to handle Grudge successfully, depending on his HP, cooldowns and how good the healer is at keeping the tank topped off. First time I ran WP, I could only handle 3 at a time. Now, I can go as high as 6 if I've popped a cooldown, but I've only ever had to deal with 5 at the most. The other DPS focuses completely on the boss. Healer heals. Once the big suckers come out when boss is lower on HP, it's a DPS race to take boss down. Save lv2 limit for this point. This is a strategy that works best if your party isn't high-level.

2 - If you've got a well-geared party, you can just burn the king down. DPS may bother with a few tonberries at most. Mostly, tank just tanks and does some repositioning as needed. DPS unloads. Healer heals and even throws out some stone now and again. He'll go down very fast. Save lv2 limit for when he's lower on health and big adds come, just like the other method.

All you'll do healer wise is watch the tank and the boss. He'll charge up his rancor and you just keep regen up to top the tank up. After he charges up and buffs himself he will do a couple of stabs you need to time stoneskin on the second stab or he'll remove it before he does his main attack. You can also time virus a bit before stoneskin if you are using that arcanist skill for some extra damage reduction. After Tank absorbs the damage heal up rinse and repeat. If your add killer isn't being too over zealous then it should be a snorefest for the healer. If the tank takes a large amount of damage from the bosses main attack if you are a WHM you always have benediction to fall back on as your get out of jail card.

After the slashers spawn the DPS focusing on adds turns to the boss and the melee if you have it uses the LB then just nuke. There isn't really anything complicated about this boss as long as people don't do dumb things like aggro the slashers.

depends on the group make up really, have been doing this dungeon since I hit 50 with no issues with "lack" of dps.

if I get 1 ranged 1 melee, the range goes out and kills 3 adds(I only had 4.2k or so hp when I started so taking 4 was risky) and gets on the boss till he casts everybody's grudge and then gets back on to killing 3 more adds..rinse and repeat.
You can really kill all adds till about 4th rotation like this because only two adds would've spawned before the first cast, and 3 adds each before 2nd and 3rd.
I tell the melee to take LB at around 30% and the range to ignore adds around 40%, while I kite. (Only reason I don't start kiting at 100% is due to melee positional requirement)

If you get 2 ranged or overgeared dps, you can kite the adds endlessly as a tank. You can also AOE LB in the middle and immune the dmg as paladin with however many adds.
PS: DPS kiting is the worse advice I can give, they usually end up dying, its better not to touch adds and let tank kite.

The only reason DPS kiting is dead because your healer doesn't remove Heavy on them. And if your group consist of 2 melee DPS, please tell me you want a tank to kite.

Though, as I stated, it's really on Healer and Tank whether they know how many stacks they can take so strategies change depend on both of 'em.

If you go with a very geared DPS with a paladin tank, you can even just burn boss, ignore all adds and aoe them down at once with PLD pop Hallowed Ground to survive grude 10+ stack in one time and boss is dead.

Wow, and here I was thinking this was like the easiest boss ever.....but maybe it helps that I've only done this in full DL with my bf who is also full DL brd? But we have had a very easy time with BRD kiting adds and killing them while I (DRG) dps the main boss the whole time and the healer just focuses on tank while they use their cooldown moves. I use LB as soon as the 2nd bar pops then finish him off using all my dps boosts. easy win. easier than AK imo. but maybe I've been lucky with getting good tanks? who knows
