    -- More Love 4 FFXIV !! <3 --

SE in many interviews answered on question why made FFXIV rather than upgrade FFXI? It’s cos they wanted create more casual friendly mmo, for people who don’t have so much time but still they can get full experience of the game. Now when FFXIV gets better and it will for sure, we will have 2 SE-FF mmo’s on market: FFXI hardcore classic, and FFXIV more casual, solo (for some still hardcore, forget them )

Now my point is and also maybe petition to SE and players to support me with this, to focus on these titles, make them even better, support them as long as possible, port to even more system’s, upgrade graphic engine if needed in future etc.

I’m asking SE and I’m sure not alone, to polish insanely these titles, not making new ones. Look how most mmo’s end with their sequels, ppl come ppl go, but if mmo will be polished always fresh and will give great experience, there will be always big player’s base.

With SE statement of cancellation many projects, I just have hope they can focus more now on FXIV it have such a huge potential, and even FFXI have much more left because now these two mmo’s can follow different directions and stay strong together.

And SE if you must make new mmo in future, make it action mmo or use different franchise, but for ur 2 FF mmo’s, just give them more Love!!

I'll join this parade: SE is most likely canceling games to lay off people to save money...jut saying. Meaning, they wont "concentrate" on any one thing - meaning life goes on just as it did before. They wont make FFXI in HD, nor should they, the game has been played out. I will say however that FFXIV will be ok and probably live on for a long time.

Ofc they won't concentrate on one thing, SE is huge company and no1 want this, they still make great games, however with mmo's it's defferent.

I think SE have something which simply other companys making mmo's can only dream off, mmo based on best selling rpg game series in history. And now with 2 mmo's and 2 defferent direction's they should just make them most epic experience ever. I know it's a lot of pressure maybe ;D

It's SE, they have money and talented ppl to polish their mmo and make them really famous, not just for being FF titles. What I really don't want and afraid to see is that they will start releasing mmo's like just any other games, with not the best quality. FFXIV was rushed and see what happened.

It's all pointing to one question really - Do we want SE to release more new mmo's or polish and upgrade existing ones in future?

A period of great change is underway, and we ask you to bear with us. FINAL FANTASY XIV is dear to us as it is to our fans, and there is simply nothing we would love more than to see it flourish into everything it can be. And to see this wish become reality, we promise to spare no effort in delivering the ultimate battle experience to players.
Well that really answered question's in my thread, and Thank you SE <3

Not sure what you are trying to say, petition to Square to support FF XIV? We don't need to, they already are.

Well to understand this best I will give u example of 2 company's: NCSoft and Blizzard, both making mmo's and support them, right? While first one it's obviously going for quantity and second for quality, and guess which one is more successful.

Btw remember Lineage, main NCSoft mmo? Well u don't need to anymore: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/g...g-in-June.html

Now SE it's somewhere in a middle between those 2 companies and we'll soon find out, which direction, trend SE mmo's will follow. I'm just simply voting here for quality over quantity and give SE something to think about it.

You mean the 13 year old game that was still boasting over 1 mil subscribers just a few years back? Yeah, I remember that. Definitely not what I'd define as NCSoft's "main" MMO, "first" would be understandable. They have Aion and Guild Wars with GW2 coming out soon. They'll be just fine for a long time to come.

XI is very casual friendly and to be honest forcing a game around the casual market is a really stupid idea and the reasons are simple: Your average casual player looking to try games is most likely playing xbox live arcade or some wii game, if they want to step it up and want to try out mmos they will more often than not ask their friends what they play in which the answer is either WoW or MapleStory, both being completely different they'll end up in either.

XIV current Audience I would say is mostly hardcore and it should be based around that, if they stuck with most of XI ideas they'd probably be doing a bit better now, only a bit as some are anti-xi and ofc some are casual, its tough so you need to find an audience and just stick with it and the casual audience isn't that.

Not to mention until the most recent SP change the game was extremely anti casual lol. So they dont even know how to make a game to the audience they wanted.
