My husband has loved Tataru since 1. whatever patch she came with. I have to agree that she is adorable, and if we ever get another cat we will name it Tataru.

Am I the only one who feels that SE dumbed her down compared to 1.0? Originally she was shown to be far more proactive in the Path of the Twelve, effectively serving as Minfilia's second-in-command, giving the player quest briefings and speaking to them over the Path linkpearl (even telling them off on one occasion!) - now however, she seems to have taken a hit to intelligence and is shown as more airheaded, bubbly and just acts as a doormat around everyone else. Which is a shame as I really liked her in 1.0.
