FFXIV ARR "Easy Mode"

Entire game (besides Coil, until Crystal Raid loot becomes available) is entirely free of challenging content. Most people have multiple relics and Dark-light gear or AF2. I can no longer differentiate someones skill level by the gear they have. Titan is a stupid bot with the same patterns so if you continue to die, well hey, you cant teach stupid, right? This game has officially showed the big finger to anybody who played an FF MMO for a challenge. Anytime I see someone make a post about an aspect in this game they find too easy, they get trolled. What's wrong with wanting a challenge? People are so smart on the forums yet they cant consistently dodge Titan's puddles. What are you people gonna say when the whole server has Darklight and 9/9 relics? Bring on the expansion!!!

Relics and Darklight are endgame starter gear.
You ask for challenge, but I don't see that you have even cleared Turn 1 yet.

Crystal Palace isn't even in the game yet and was supposed to bridge between DL gear and Allagan gear. Going to BCoB with DL gear (which is minimum), is like stepping into HM. The real content you should be concerned about is CP and BCoB. DL+Relic is just starter gear to get into CP. But the way the development is looking, people will be decked out with AF2+Relic making both raid dungeons pointless unless you just want to see/do the encounters.

Probably got carried by his FC or got lucky/good group for Titan...

Not good/geared enough for BC but over geared for AK and WP.

So I theorize that now he is in the sweet spot of previous content being to easy but BC out of reach and he is not challenging himself by doing crazy speed runs.

Honestly 10min WP run is harder than coil atm. If you get bored there's always 4-man titan/hydra which is by no means easy. Penta meld a full set of HQ iLvL70 gear cost around 60m, and I doubt the vast majority of people are "winning" in the game economically.

Well, clear Turn 4 before saying the game is easy.
Getting Relic is just the start of the game.

I guess your main is Tank, which is the easiest class to play in Titan.

Had I seen how easymode Coil is before my i paid my sub, I wouldn't have renewed.

On top of being easymode, the game progression is entirely broken:
The levelling dungeons are completely useless for anything other than unlocking story. Half xp/hr of fates for gear that is easily repacable: No thanks.
Why is the best and fastest way to farm gear a completely and utterly ridiculous set of dungeons (CM, WP, AK) ?? None of the dungeons are challenging. None of them are enjoyable.

Right now game progression looks like this:
-FATE grind to 50
-Class quests and get AF1
-Spam uninteresting dungeons for DL
-Get Relic
-Do Coil

I must admit that Titan and parts of Coil was enjoyable. SE did a good job on those fights even with the horrible game design that the game suffers from.
But the rest of my time spent in the game, the entire 95% of my online time, everything was completely easymode, seemed broken and on top of that it made me question if this game was made in 2013 or in 2001.

Me and a bunch others will have "completed the game" very soon. And we're not getting new content, but are in stead getting new dungeons for gearing up for content that we already completed. Unless things change very fast, then in 2 months the playerbase will consist of: FFXIV fanboys and kids that never played a quality mmorpg.

So my protip for SE: Change things very fast. Right now this is a poorly executed version of WoW with easier content. I came here for a poorly executed version of wow with harder content.

And don't give me the usual "lolol complete Coil before you claim how easy the game is!". There might be one or two enjoyable fights. But the rest of my time online will be spent levelling or gearing alts. And those activities are just so easymode that its barely enjoyable.
