I am still getting Error 601

As the title says I am getting error 601. I am not sure if it is because I am stationed in Japan and I am using an American credit card, but I want to play the game and this whole situation has me seeking my MMO fix elsewhere ( which I don't want).

Any tips or any help would be greatly appreciated.

All information points to SE refusing the transaction due to draconian fraud protection systems and once flagged, you, and your account are probably screwed. I will likely get the error again too once my current game time card runs out.

You've seen the sticky at the top? 70+ pages and no response from SE... yeah they care that much.

Well...Fuck. So is my account now banned? I even tried to use my friend's proxy to try and subscribe.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in involving payment. I mean it works EVERYWHERE else but with SE.

Well time to find something else to throw my money at >_>. I waited so long for this game too...

getting the same issue..located in korea trying to play in the us...getting error 601 on my account and friends account..trying one more time tomorrow..if im still getting this error me+friend are done with this game.

i stuck around with all the bsod's and crashes..if an error with payment still occurs, i see no reason to continue/try to pay money for a game that wont let me pay to play for a game that crashes

Same issue for me. I've tried direct payment and crysta payment methods including credit cards, PayPal and Ultimate Game Cards but can not get past the 601 error.
