SE doesn't explain their damn events, all they say is a bunch of mumble jumble with incomprehensible references. Can anyone care to explain what this event is about?

Here is the website for it with very detailed instructions on where to go - http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...l_Saints_Wake/
I was expecting to get the costume of the girl besides the quest giver dude, and all I got was a stinky ghost costume and then a lazy reskin at the end....
I am disappoint... (at least I got some exp for my fisher... while doing the quests I guess)
You mean a coatee top, dress shoes, bikini bottoms, and the WVR AF hat?
That's sorta obtainable without the quest line. Here's me doing my Maelstrom-themed attempt at it.

yes, it would have been nice to have a thematic version of that set, regardless of obtain ability by other means (the yukatas in XI for example were re-skins of some MNK gear that also dispensed fireworks)
Yeah, the girl's wearing a Velveteen Coatee of Crafting, I believe, along with the Black Tanga (2-month veteran reward), Weaver's Hat, and Dress Shoes (Limsa starter quest-reward). The Impressario is wearing more or less the same, but probably black Patrician's pants and gloves with the Orange Pumpkin Head.
I didn't really think it was hard to understand. Read the posting about it on the lodestone and then read the NPC dialogue instead of clicking through it just to get it out of the way. And then follow the quest log and use your map. I think you'll find it's pretty clear.
