    Warrior and Strength

    So I've been leveling warrior and putting my bonus stats into strength. As I've read on a few threads here it seems to be more beneficial than vit at this point. My question is, do you also stack str in gear (accessories, etc.) or do you keep the traditional vit gear as your main focus? Thanks for the help

    Currently as war stands, I believe putting everything into VIT is a much better option. War gets a tiny percentage of amount parried, as well as a bit more damage. But War has trouble surviving in coil, so having any extra health will be far more effective in terms of surviving than the small percentage you gain from strength.

    Accessories are technically either-or affairs, though you can meld VIT into Gryponskin rings to get both.

    I guess I meant more specifically in accessories (rings, belt, necklace, earrings). As yes most armor already has str and vit.

    So str isn't worth it? I've read so many posts on here that go both ways, I guess I'm just trying to figure out what is the best route to be a viable tank in most endgame content (I'm definitely aware of War struggles in the later turns of the coil and Titan HM)

    Thanks for the quick replies.

    Basically, it works like this. Every point put into VIT gimps WAR further by reducing burst and total mitigation. However, because WAR's mitigation doesn't increase effective HP pool like PLD, you have to dump points into VIT to survive hits an equally-geared PLD takes just fine. It's a design double-whammy for WAR. If you can survive, dump everything into STR. Up to that point, dump everything in VIT. What points are these? Well, some have suggested 7500 HP (after food) as a target point, but I don't know enough to make a good judgment.

    Here's how to do it OP;
    If you're tanking anything other than Titan or Coil, go all STR, STR dl accessories, STR alotment, etc.
    If you're tanking Titan or Coil, you'll want full DL as much vit as humanly possible and a shit ton of skill.

    Ah I'm understanding better. Thanks for the replies. Looks like it's best to just keep a couple GC hymns on hand for different situations.
