Watch out with Matt Chayba. It appears his account was sold and its a newb now. Just ran AK with him. He didn't know what Protect was and that he should wait for it, nor did he know Scholars have pets. He repeatedly mentioned drugs. Then after another wipe he ran in and pulled with our BLM locked out, instant wipe. It was hysterical how bad this guy was. He didnt speak the entire run, except near the end he kept asking about drugs. I thought he didnt speak english until the end. We were past demon wall before he spoke, ignoring the mages asking him which bee to kill first. Did not know how to mark targets. Silence, just charging in with no buffs or healer pet or mages ready. Probably busy 'smoking', from his later comments.

Whether i am right or wrong about the account sale, or maybe his little sister sharing it or whatever, you probably do not want a tank in Coil who has never heard of Protect, can't target mark, and didnt know healers can have pets.

Its also possible he was just really bored with AK and watching a movie or something, but there were enough red flags that his account had been sold that I felt compelled to warn his server - he was that bad considering his excellent gear.

I'm sorry you feel that way about Matt. Truthfully, I don't know him. He's been quiet and I've had no meaningful interaction with him.

I must ask, why did you choose to post this here in my recruitment thread? If you wanted to warn Famfrit that Matt's account may have been sold/compromised wouldn't a new dedicated thread be more appropriate?

I can only think you must've wanted someone in this LS to hold him accountable for his actions on that AK run. The LS was created to bring small FCs together for all grouping purposes(mostly end game), build a strong community and earn a reputation for themselves. For now my expectation is that FCs should hold their own members accountable for their conduct. I realize the difficulty here is that Matt is the leader of his FC.

I will only eject members if they are consistently violating LS chat rules of conduct or too many LS members have complaints about a particular person or FC. I'll keep your warning in mind. If what you say is true and was not a momentary lapse in Matt's judgement he could very well make a bad reputation for himself in the LS and lose representation in Flotilla.

Just posting to say I've had a very positive experience with the flotilla linkshell so far. There are plenty of people I've made friends with and have enjoyed continued dungeons with.

I really like the idea of this. I am new to Famfrit and eager to contribute to the community. When the game came out I was stuck on a JP server, and just randomly picked an NA server to call my home. I play with a couple of RL friends, they are a bit more casual than myself, but I want to see the endgame and what it has to offer. I am in Full DL / Relic +1 / Valor gloves, and 2 Hero's accessories. Looking to find solid and reliable Coil group, currently on turn 4 with Solstice.

I am loyal to my friends and have created an FC with about 10 active members. I enjoy all aspects of the game, from dungeons to crafting to FATES to just hanging out. I am always up to help out a player in need. Seems like everyone keeps to themselves and Havent been able to make many friends.

I shouted a couple times in the cities but no one got back to me, and then I found this post. Please send me an invite, I'll see you all around!
