Flotilla! Small Free Companies Unite!

So you’re in a small Free Company. Your reasons could be many. Perhaps your free company hasn’t yet grown to the size you want it, or you prefer a tightknit group of your favorite people to play with, maybe even you have an RP company of all DRGs or WHMs. But that doesn’t mean that it has to be difficult to organize your own raids, FATE groups, trials and other group oriented activities or find those people who are looking for someone to join them in these activities. Let the small Free Companies of Famfrit band together to achieve their common goals! If we work together we can create coalition to conquer every aspect of this game while still respecting players and their desire to maintain their unique Free Company identity. I propose the expansion of Flotilla – The linkshell.

The word flotilla is defined as a fleet of small vessels, often organized and working together to achieve a common goal. The benefits I see to the creation and expansion of the Flotilla LS are as follows-

1.) Access to more players means increasing the chances you can find that particular class/job you’ve been looking for your group, raid, crafting needs etc.
2.) Flotilla linkshell would give small free companies a chance to build a reputation among one another. Do you have a small group of good, eager and ever improving players in your free company? Your free company could become known for that or you could come to know a free company like that.
3.) Keep your friends close and keep your free company identity. No need to assimilate into large free companies if you don’t want to.
4.) Escape the tyranny of cross realm PUGs
5.) Exchange of ideas. Different free companies will have different levels of knowledge about the game. You could be the teacher or student.

I hope that some people will see the potential of Flotilla that I see. I really feel it could strengthen the Community. This is an awesome idea. I hope we can get this going and have multiple FC's participating. Building up the Community on Famfrit would be great.
