Leatherworking Spiritbond and Gathering routes

I brought my LTW to 50 recently and used some leftover moneys to buy myself green HQ gear. Same goes for miner although I am still using some lvl 45+ gear to spiritbond that I might use ( doesn't really seem worth it on DOL).
I want to make my LTW into a good one, and thus I need materia. Trying to spiritbond the HQ 55+ items was too much of a hassle and not very rewarding. Thus, I come back to the 45+ items. In this case, my belt, earring, necklace and aetheryte rings.
However, spiritbonding them ( even with crappy materia in them and HQ) goes slow.
What recipe do you guys farm to increase spiritbonding? And are accesoiries still the best option for materia gathering.
And for the 2nd question. Right now I am only farming Darksteel and Gold ore from unspoiled nodes. What are your favorite gathering routes for unspoiled nodes? (mining)

Wait, I thought Aetheryte rings gave crafting materia? Wierd.

The easiest way is simply wear the gear on any DoW/DoM class and start killing stuff in the 45+ range. If you don't have such a character, you could try to take a level 50 DoL class and just go gather say 500 cobalt ores or whatever else that might be potentially useful (but not shards) while wearing the said equipment. Making items is generally cost prohibitive because to spiritbond high level things you need to be making relatively high level items, and the shard cost gets prohibitive. Unless you've a few thousand shards to burn, it's simply not affordable.

Get a GSM to make you a couple sets of crafter jewelry. So.. electrum choker, militia wristlets, red coral earrings, and electrum rings.

and then go run CM 2-3 times to SB them.

Rinse and repeat.
