You can view previously priced items that sold... If they added the option you're asking for, it would plague the market even more. Constant undercutting till everything is shit. Oh wai-
The Twitter-like posting limits are both hilarious and frustrating. Hilarous because it makes no sense and it's very hostile. Frustrating because of the same reasons.

I feel that when the level cap is raised leveling will be a lot tougher...
I would really love to see Materia used correctly. I mean, the entire system is stolen directly from FFVII, why not make it work in the same ways? For instance, where is the Death Blow materia? Even if it is a 1% chance of happening, and completely disabled from working on bosses (by them having a tolerance to it similar to how Bind never works on most bosses) it would still be awesome to have it. We have Materia for Elemental Resistances (which are almost pointless except for miniscule help in primal HM fights), why can't we have Elemental Affinities? I would love to apply Ice to my bow. Hell, I don't even care if it adds heavy like the spell does, just cosmetic application would be sweet! Shooting off frozen arrows, i.e.
And as a Bard, I have 4 AOE moves. I would love to see an 'All' materia, although it's hard to think of a materia in game right now that would benefit from it. I just feel like the Materia system was given to us as a throwback 'fan favorite' type thing, with no real incentive to use it. They are all the same basic stat boosts with no variety. Sure, you can argue that the Vanya HQ + Materias is a bit better than Darklight, but it's always comparing the same kind of stats. I always saw materia as a way to customize effects into your gear that weren't offered with just the regular version of the gear, and this game has failed in that. It makes Materia useless to me, and not worth the bother (other than monetary gain)
LOL @ Jay...
Imagine WAR + HP Absorb materia stacked in everything... the immortal Tank...
I'd actually love to see an Enmity+ Materia for Tanks and an Enmity- Materia for Healers and BLM/SMN.
We also need TP/MP/CP/GP Cost Reduction abilities and Materias, and Abilities or Materias to decrease the cooldowns on Independent Cooldown/Interrupt abilities.
See those are some great ideas! They could justify it by giving us content hard enough to need it!! I know harder content will come in time, but I imagine changes to the materia system like what was mentioned would take time too. I agree, maybe the HP absorb is a bit overboard for tanks, but the enmity materias sound awesome. Bard's get an enmity reducing move, but it isn't really that potent. Annnnnd chances are if the tank is losing hate to me, he isn't really performing his job too capably haha.
It's just, the way the system is set up, I would look at slots and say to myself "Ok, its either +dex or +crit".....
Whoop-de-frickin-doo!
The materia system needs variety!
Steal Materia (Max / gear @ IL70 10%) - Chance any attack will grant you a copy of the enemy's drop.
TP/HP/MP Absorb Materia
TP/GP/MP Regen Materia
TP/GP/MP/CP Cost Reduction Materia
Status Effect Materia (Resist and inflict)
Element Damage Materia (on top of base damage)
Element Absorption Materia (Can be OPed)
Edit: Yes, I know that means on Fully crafted ItemLevel70 gear you could get between 120-130% Steal Rate if you put 10% in each piece of gear. 11 pieces of gear (Non Primry/Sub Weapon) + Primary/Sub Weapons.

Things that need a change:
The 0.3s delay.
Enemy attack animation needs to be synced to the hit.
I think those are really important at this point.
How about an MP<->TP one or TP<->GP?
EXP+, Gil+, Spiritbond+...
What about a self-repair Materia, where it repairs over time (1m = 1%)?
