make events more like ffxi

I liked the events were had so far. Moonfaire and now Halloween. But although quests were short (which is ok) was hoping the prizes would be better then just outfits. In FF11 the prizes had some lil effect/buff/perk to them. For example this halloween outfit we got upon full quest completion would ofbeen cool ifwhen equiped gave a ability that calls out a flying witch or ghost. .. or upon activation gave out some treats only player could store n use. Just hope the rest come ip with something worthwhile in future. Anyone else agree?

It was fun using all the seasonal stuff from XI to level classes early on, but I can understand why they might not want to deprecate all the low-level armor any more than will happen naturally.

Was talking just about that in other thread, I was expecting a set of gear like the girl next to the quest dude, even if it was just a reskin of other gear (yukatas anyone)

at the very least, the ghost costumes should have dispensed the cookies


And yeah, I was always carring the treat staff II with me, talk about an useful seasonal event item!

Fingers crossed that with the implementation of housing, they also bring back holiday decorations as well (the easter eggs, halloween lanterns, christmas trees, etc).
