    You mean the one item 99% of the Press praised while lambasting the rest of the game for its inferiorness? Yup.

    As has already been stated. The Job system is going to restrict you to your job for your role in combat and the skills you can equip. It has no reason to restrict your weapon at that point.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

    We disagree. I think that a Job will be locked onto a Class.

    If thats the case the Job system will be extremely boring and I wouldn't be surprised if people forgo using it for the pure freedom of only using the Armoury System.

    They would miss out on the Job specific skills then, but for soloing using the current classes would be fine.

    In practice, players will find the existing classes effective when playing solo or in certain party setups. Jobs, however, will shine in party situations where specific skill sets are demanded.

    The skill sets are part of a job
    While playing as a particular job will render you unable to equip certain actions of other classes, you will be compensated with access to exclusive actions,
    I believe that the job will be locked onto the class that gains the rank required to unlock the quest to unlock the job.
