Please do not lock Jobs to the Weapon Class that unlocks them.

Hey, don't blame casuals, I'm consider myself casual but I don't mind taking the time to do things. As long as the battle system stays fast paced, and we keep leves, guild tasks, and behests, getting SP shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I prefer the class/job system, that way the soloers and partiers are happy.

If let's say i do become a monk and am the same level as Pug and i have to use the same gear as pug they pretty much did noting. Am still not a real pug now if they add ws,ja,spell that only Monk can use then ok that sound great too me

the only thing i don't like that am still a Pug -.- i want to level monk from 1-50 not still be a pug with a title as a monk i think that the only problem i have i with it.

I see your concern, but we have no idea how it's going to work out just yet, so all we can do right now is wait. But here are a few quotes that may calm you down or give you an idea of how it's going to work:

ya that pretty much what i read also pretty much if unlock monk i can't use any spell from other class or job. I have to unlock them by doing quest which i think is pretty good.

Pretty much am not allow to put any action that Monk can not really use like fire,water but i still can get maybe cure and such.

I think i like it just the idea of not really being level 1 again while level up Monk if it like that then i love it if not then i guess it be boring because most ppl right now have 50 on lot's of job unlocking a title that give you spell of it own is not really fun if all you can do is dungeon sure it give me the role i want and AF but there no more leveling the point of a mmo is to level up at least that how i feel when playing FFXI. When playing wow it was more about getting to max and doing raids all day and getting gear it was not really about how you got there it just when you get there.

FFXI give you a road and lot's of thing to do while you level wow is more about oh level 1-85 and now you can do raids and all you do is dungeon dungeon dungeon. then if you want to level something new you have to make a new char and it was just getting very quick to the end not about how great it was to get there and building your class that what want in ffxiv more of a journey to get max.

actly its more like u unlock monk then because there ment for party related u wont be able to cross over other class abilitys and there for making it party only but then if u wanted to solo u would just switch to pug..

You still allow to get Spell from other class if it make sense to Monk like If you unlock Red mage you can get white magic,black magic and spell from some warrior type class but you also get your own like endspell,Haste and so on.

I guess it's not that bad of a system we have to wait for it to release am sure it going to take month for SE to fix all the problems.
