Stone Vigil DF Shout-out

This is just a shout-out to the folks I grouped with last night in Stone Vigil. That was my first run through that dungeon, and despite a few very bad pulls on my part and several boss wipes, we finished with 3 mins on the clock. I'd like to thank the drg for the perfectly timed LB which finished the last boss. A few seconds later and we would have been dead (healer and blm were dirt napping). All in all, you guys were patient and understanding. For that, you have my thanks as it is very rare to find such accomodations via DF.

I'll take what I learned and move forward. Thanks.

I had a very similar experience my first time in Vigil where we all were new and we wiped a few times at the end boss, but we never let it get us down. We finished with less than 5 minutes remaining. I like experiences like this, as it is fun when people are actually having fun and progressing along. So many groups in the later dungeons, at least in my experience, are so afraid of trial and error that they quit after one wipe or mistake and don't even bother going the rest of the way.

Good for you and your group for sticking it the rest of the way.

best fights you have and remember, are the ones that you almost lost.
apart from being in a group with a totally stoned healer (like last night, he said himself he smoked a bit to much, said sorry, and dropped...) i always try to stick it out.
it's a mattter of pride i guess.
