Generally speaking if it doesn't work on a specific computer for a specific character, but that character works on other computers and that computer works with other characters... its corrupted game files.

Delete everything (or move it into a temporary folder on your desktop) and then try running the game again. It will recreate all those files from scratch and hopefully fix the issue.
