    Craftsman Cunning Materia

    Is the bane of my existence. My last 7 converts of i45+ gear has been turned into CP+ materia. My understanding is converting results are random. Should I be targeting a specific item to spiritbond for control or craftsmanship or am I just having some bad luck?

    In my experience, they ARE random. I think you're just on a mini-streak.

    Luckily, selling the extras and buying what you need should work out.

    CP+3 materia is actually really valuable to slot on your accessories. The ideal materia setup for a crafter would be 330-340 CP without food.
    Granted it's not a big moneymaker if you're making these materia to sell, but if you actually need to use them, I would not complain about getting them.
