Update the Armoire!

Yes, the armoire need a fast ARR update. It is not only the event gears, but also every ARR bonus gear like CE gear and preorder gear.

Agreed! This really needs to be updated, Can we also store Primal and Relic Weapons in the Armoire as well?

Only stuff you can only get once and no more after it.

Also, the armoire works like the event storage NPC and the porter moogles in ffxi, when items are new, they aren't storable until 1-2 updates later, not minor updates either.

In 1.0 the items were storageable in the armoire at the start of the events.
I can still remember how i did the Valentine event 2012, got my rewards and put 2 of them in my armoire at the same day.

I'd also like to see untradeable/unsellable dungeon gear pieces have a storage slot in the Armoire as well. I don't really want to discard all of them (or trade them in for seals). Some are complete sets that I worked hard to get so I could wear the complete outfit, but there just isn't enough storage.

I'd like this to accommodate the collector in me. Not just dungeon gear, but GC gear too please!

I totally agree that it needs to be updated but I also think they need to allow us to quest to get more retainers, even just 1 more would be a huge relief for most of us

Ugh, good luck on that one. In FFXI there still are items, which have been around since Japanese Launch, that can't be stored with any of the NPCs and neither can they be sent to an alt.
But yes, Why have all but 3 Swimsuitslot int he Armoire?

Lets say the housing will be in a away you can store more at your house, it still will be getting quite full if you get each and every thing you can get which isn't sell able or otherwise useable.
What is btw the point in gear that can't be sold to NPCs? If THAT is a measure to prevent RMTit clearly starts at the wrong part of the RMT foodchain (which has a lot of parts, because its rather a vicious (if I used the word right) net than a chain )

I seem to remember that FFXI had the same issue.

They only made it possible to store the items in a patch long after the event was over.

I'm not having storage issues with a TON of stuff, so I don't see why so many others have these issues.

Guess your not crafting/gathering. There are over 400 different crafting items just for levels 1-35. This is counting just gather-able stuff and some kill stuff. Not counting the 50+ items that are vendor only, some only available at one location, Or the vast amount of crafting materials that are crafted, that get created in odd amounts so you can't use them all without left overs.

Its not like you out-level the need for items either, if your doing more than one DoH, since when one no longer uses it another tends to start needing it.

On topic, they really need to fix this. what is the point of making a special storage chest for these items, but not allow about a 1/3 of the items the fit the criteria to be stored, actually be stored.

Also, everyone with a problem with this please summit it as a bug. Maybe if enough people complain something will be done.

I also agree about this. I want to be able to store my primal bows and the extra swim suits. Also, in regards to swimsuits, I was in an airhead moment, and bought a bikiki that I already had with my retainer. It didn't tell me I had too many until I tried to store it with him. Now I have an extra swimsuit that I can do nothing with. I can't even delete it. @_@ this needs to be fixed.

Speaking of dated gear what am I to do with them? Does a moogle or whatever take them and give me something back?

Seriously?

My first retainer holds mats for crafting, I don't have crap mats, only the ones I really need.

My second retainer holds gear and materia.

I have so much space left it's ridiculous.


Get rid of trash and stop complaining.
