    without stamina, what reason would you have for not provoking? what reason would you have for not having every buff up possible as soon as its available? What is invigorates cost to you now? before you were giving up some attacks for tp over time, now, its just tp over time.

    choosing when not to attack and when to burst was itself a huge strategy element, its now gone.

    people WERE spamming attack most of the time, they never got a chance to shine, same thing for the enemies people fought, thats because they made it so that you were best off fighting easy crap, because i guess they thought thats what people wanted.
    Alright, but dude, really, how do you know that personal strategy will be more limited in the new battle system, if it hasn't been implemented yet? That's the main point i am trying to get across. If you know how the battle system is going to work, please share with the rest of us.

    If not, then you can't say for sure that the new battle system is going to limit anything. In fact, it "may" influence more personal strategy and open more opportunities. Point Allotment is an important concept of the battle system, and you are allowed to allot your points to whichever stat you like on any class. Cant say that there isn't any personal strategy in that.

    Choosing when to attack and to not attack did have its strategy, but again, who else is going to notice that when they are spamming attacks and taking the hate off of you anyways? If the hate isn't on you, what good is "not attacking" the mob? besides wasting time. It was a strategy, but if you wanted to get through a battle alive, you'd be thinking more about what ability you needed to use next, and not when you were going to stop attacking.

    I know there are some mobs like the crabs that hide into their shells for defense. Auto Attack wont really hurt it, but you still have to time your weapon skills if you want to do maximum damage.

    Not crazy about the auto-attack... that's what made me fall asleep in XI lol Oh well. I'm still excited for all the new changes in the future!

    Apparently it was something saying that the dungeon experience wouldnt be the same every time (multiple ways to complete it).

    Reading that giant list that Mocchi posted, the best thing I've read so far is that they're removing the action gauge (stamina bar).

    Good! I'm glad they're getting rid of the stamina bar. While it's another thing to help with Strategy, it also seems a bit pointless to have both recast timers and a stamina bar

    Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
